Coronado Capturing Zuni Village Tiffany Window Cartoon, c. July 23, 1930
This color cartoon, for the fourth medallion of the Spanish Discovery Window at the Levere Memorial Temple Chapel, depicts Francisco Vazquez de Coronado's capture and burning of Zuni villages in New Mexico in 1540. In the Levere Memorial Temple Chapel, the Spanish Discovery Window is Clerestory Window #3. Handwritten notes appear around the perimeter of the cartoon.
