Carlisle Traveling the Circuit Tiffany Window Cartoon, c. October 13, 1930
This color cartoon, for the right side medallion of the Carlisle Window at the Levere Memorial Temple Chapel, depicts John Griffin Carlisle as a young Kentucky Barrister traveling the circuit on horseback. The cupola of the courthouse in Independence, Boone County, Kentucky can be seen in the background. Handwritten notes appear around the perimeter of the cartoon.
