Appomattox Tiffany Window Cartoon, c. September 17, 1930
This color cartoon, for the fourth medallion of the Mexican and Civil War Window at the Levere Memorial Temple Chapel, depicts Grant and Lee making peace at Appomattox on April 9, 1865. In the Levere Memorial Temple Chapel, the Mexican and Civil War Window is Clerestory Window #8. Handwritten notes appear around the perimeter of the cartoon.
