Admiral Dewey Tiffany Window Cartoon, c. July 17, 1930
This color cartoon, for the third medallion of the Spanish American War Window at the Levere Memorial Temple Chapel, depicts Admiral Dewey aboard the Olympic at Manila on May 1, 1898. In the Levere Memorial Temple Chapel, the Spanish American War Window is Clerestory Window #9. The back of the drawing depicts an early potential concept, which was eventually rejected, showing Sir Walter Raleigh. Handwritten notes appear around the perimeter of the cartoon.
