Two photographs of Billy Levere with SAE members in Andernach, Germany following World War I holding an initiation ceremony for Lloyd Brown, a pledge from the University of Wisconsin. The ceremony, the second ever initiation of a neophyte into an American college fraternity held on European soil, was help in the ruins of a castle of the Electors at Andernach-on-the-Rhine.
