Mississippi and Great Lake Basin Map Tiffany Window Cartoon, c. August 16, 1930
This color cartoon, for the fourth medallion of the French Discovery Window at the Levere Memorial Temple Chapel, depicts the first map of the Mississippi and Great Lake Basin, drawn by Louis Hennepin in 1683. In the Levere Memorial Temple Chapel, the French Discovery Window is Clerestory Window #4. Handwritten notes appear around the perimeter of the cartoon.
