This color cartoon, for the right panel of the Lamar Window at the Levere Memorial Temple Chapel, depicts Senator L. Q. Lamar taking the oath of office as an associate justice of the United States Supreme Court on January 16, 1889. Handwritten notes appear around the perimeter of the cartoon.
