Monitor vs. Merrimack Tiffany Window Cartoon, c. September 17, 1930
This color cartoon, for the third medallion of the Mexican and Civil War Window at the Levere Memorial Temple Chapel, depicts the Battle of the Monitor and Merrimack in the Chesapeake Bay on March 9, 1862. In the Levere Memorial Temple Chapel, the Mexican and Civil War Window is Clerestory Window #8. Handwritten notes appear around the perimeter of the cartoon.
